Working with April was just such good fun! The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo contracted with her to assist with a gala dinner affair involving international oil executives, an event with the intent of bringing guests from all over the world. April was quickly aware of the potential for trouble involving political and cultural friction and generated programming that would be well received by all attending.

Working with Vitalize Initiatives (previously AMCAN Consulting) was a pleasure. We have an excellent relationship with April Smith at Vitalize Initiatives due to years of proven workmanship and reliability. She brings a positive energy to a project that helps ensure success. We outsourced the creation of a bid for the 2010 Alberta Winter Games to Vitalize. This also included the planning and implementation of a tour for the Games Bid Committee. The timelines we had were extremely tight, but April pulled it off and did an amazing job. We also had April plan and implement a city wide Canada Day celebration for Fort McMurray in 2007. She created an event that was a huge success. People loved the parade, the fireworks were incredible, the skateboard demo was a hit with the youth, the family day in the park was extremely well attended and the hospital visit allowed people in the hospital to celebrate as well. We would not hesitate to use the Vitalize Team for initiatives in the future.
